About the Class & Instructor

Gentle yoga involving breathwork, mindful movements practiced sitting in a chair. May have some standing movements using chair as a support. Good for people with all levels of mobility, also beneficial for people working at a desk to learn how to get some movement in while working. Priyanka Varma, MS, C-IAYT, RYT 500, is a Trauma-informed Pain Therapist specializing in managing chronic conditions such as Arthritis, medical trauma, and chronic spinal issues. She is a Certified Yoga Therapist, as well as an expert in Breathwork and Meditation. She’s also trained in Pilates, Functional Movement and Sound therapy. With degrees in Statistics and Population Sciences and training in the Indian classical dance form Kathak, Priyanka brings a unique blend of science, art, and ancient wisdom to her practice.
