About the Class & Instructor

The class will start with a short introduction to yoga and Pilates, then fuse yoga and Pilates together into one class. This class will include variations for all levels. Registration required ahead of time for this 2-hour event. Jen Latourette has been teaching at Santa Rosa Junior College for nearly 10 years in the Kinesiology Department, and she continues to teach and manage wellness programs throughout the community. She holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University. Her background spans more than 30 years in the health, fitness, and wellness field. Over that time, she has worked as a Programs and Fitness Director, certified personal trainer, group exercise instructor and director, and endurance sports coach. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 500, YACEP) with Yoga Alliance, having completed training through the Baptiste Yoga Institute, Uplifted Yoga with Brett Larkin, and YogaFit. She has also studied Yin Yoga and is currently renewing that certification. In addition, she is a Comprehensive Pilates Instructor through Balanced Body, a Certified Personal Trainer, and an Ironman Certified Triathlon Coach, with many years of experience coaching endurance athletes after competing as one herself.
