About the Class & Instructor

Enjoy the benefits of Pilates with a group Springboard class utilizing a combination of Pilates mat work, small props, and the Pilates Springboard apparatus, which uses the springs as both support and resistance, providing strength, length, proprioceptive feedback, and so much fun! Led by certified Pilates instructor Angelina Alire, Springboard classes are limited to 4 participants. Angelina Alire received her Pilates Mat and Apparatus certifications at ITT Pilates in 2007. Trained under Master Instructors Debra Schubert, Madeline Black, Joerg Chabowski, Jean Sullivan and more, she regularly attends master level workshops and trainings and currently teaches private sessions and small group classes at her fully equipped studio space in Sebastopol, California as well as online. Having worked in the fitness industry since 1992, she draws on many personal training modalities and is especially skilled at corrective therapeutic exercise and functional fitness. She combines her Pilates training with a blend of functional fitness training, Somatics, Reiki, energy work, hypnosis and her innate intuitive skills . She loves to work deeply and effectively with those who are looking for a better relationship with their bodies, those who seek mind body mastery, improved fitness levels, and those who experience chronic pain conditions.
